Rebecca Dinan Schneider
President
Rebecca is owner/director of La Luna Communications | Marketing, LLC, in Waukesha, through which she serves as communications manager for the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians and as a marketing communications consultant for other clients. She has worked in the communications field for 19 years, and is experienced in branding, marketing strategy, writing/editing, graphic design, e-communications, web management and usability, and public relations. She has won 20 awards for her work from organizations such as AWC, Public Relations Society of America, Wisconsin Direct Marketing Association, American Marketing Association, FOLIO, American Society of Association Executives, and others, including a PRSA national Bronze Anvil Award and two ASAE national Gold Circle Awards. As President, she oversees and directs the organization's goals and vision for the coming year, chairs the monthly board meetings and provides updates on AWC activities at monthly membership meetings and through Chapter communications. She also represents the organization at the national level.
Annette Simms
Vice President, Programs
Annette is a communications professional with diverse business experience attained from the manufacturing, construction, health care and not-for-profit industries. Work passions include writing, executive strategies, corporate leadership and promotions, advertising, public relations, collateral creation, event and trade show planning and execution, web site maintenance, team building, problem resolution and working with all levels of people. As Vice President, Programs, she is the primary event planner and coordinator for the regular Chapter educational programs and meetings and solicits ideas and input from the board and other members to determine event topics, speakers and venues. 
Dawn Balistreri
Vice President, Membership
Dawn is an associate professor of Professional Communication at Alverno College, where she teaches a variety of courses, including digital publishing, writing, speaking, small group and interpersonal communication, the internship seminar, and intercultural communication. A member of AWC since 1991, she helped establish a student chapter at Alverno in the same year and has served as faculty adviser since then. AWC National named Dawn Outstanding Faculty Advisor several times, in 1998 she received the AWC Leading Change Award from the Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter, and in 2001, she was named a Communicator of Excellence. As Vice President, Membership, Dawn serves as the primary contact for members and coordinates new member paperwork and fees with the national office. Along with other board members, she works to recruit new members and retain current members. She also keeps the Chapter member list current with the national membership director. 
Nancy Ketchman
Secretary/Treasurer
Nancy is owner of Bottlewood Communications, Milwaukee, a firm specializing in corporate and healthcare communications. She has more than 20 years of experience in marketing communications, writing, and editing for healthcare, environmental and small business organizations. Her specialties include interviewing and writing articles for publication in national trade journals, in-house corporate magazines and web sites, and philanthropy magazines and newsletters. She also prepares and writes marketing sell sheets, press releases, case studies and brochures. In the combined role of Secretary/Treasurer, Nancy maintains proceedings of all chapter and board meetings, prepares summary reports, and handles general correspondence for the chapter. As Treasurer, she keeps records of how the Chapter's revenue is spent, pays bills and costs incurred by the Chapter, presents financial statements and updates at each Board meeting, and prepares annual financial statements for both the membership and the national office.
